The AJK Winter Sports Association (AJKWSA) stands as a growing force in the promotion of winter sports within the region of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. As an affiliated member of the Winter Sports Federation Pakistan (WSFP), the association is committed to nurturing talent, expanding opportunities, and contributing to the national vision of developing winter sports across the country.
Blessed with breathtaking landscapes, snow-covered valleys, and naturally suited terrain, AJK holds immense potential to become a winter sports hub. Recognizing this opportunity, the AJKWSA has taken proactive steps to introduce structured training, local competitions, and grassroots awareness programs. These initiatives aim to encourage young athletes to explore winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and ice hockey.
