In February 2025, the eyes of Asia turned to northeastern China as the 9th Asian Winter Games unfolded in Harbin — and once again, Pakistan sent a contingent to represent the country on ice and snow.
The Delegation & Events
The Pakistan team consisted of two athletes and four officials as per the official announcement.
- The athletes were:
- Muhammad Karim — competing in alpine skiing (events on February 8–9).
- Muhammad Shabbir — competing in cross‑country skiing (events spanning February 8–12).
- The delegation was led by Chef de Mission Mr Ashar Jamil of the Winter Sports Federation Pakistan (WSFP), with a coach, safeguarding officer, and NOC attache among the officials accompanying them.
Muhammad Karim had the honour of being Pakistan’s flagbearer at the opening ceremony.
